http://www.manafont.org/blog/salvage-dats-rehosted/  - Dat mods for salvage!

Zhayolm isnt too challenging of a zone, but has its quirks that can make it very frustrating.  The conditions for popping each NM are a bit outlandish, and occasionally a bad draw on cell drops can prevent you from even fighting some of the NMs.  That being said, a good group of 6-7 can full clear this zone of all NMs and boss with time to spare.

Floor 1

Alot of people waste time on this floor farming wp/ja/ma/sj for everyone that could use it.  The key to this zone, as in many zones in salvage, is getting only what you need to get the job done.  Typically a group of 6-7 will farm the 4 inner rooms of each wing (allowing for 6 weapons, 5-6 JA, 5-6 ma, 5 SJ after factoring in the starter chest).  One member can head to the NE portal by the time you get to the raptor room, and zone up the moment the 2nd cell dropping bugard dies.  Note that only 50% of the mobs in this zone drop cells, the others are duds.  .dat mods can help show which are which to save a few extra minutes.  Typically a good group and clear the 4 inner rooms and zone up in around 9-10 minutes.

Floor 2

Upon zoning up to the NE room of the 2nd floor, the brd will pull all the lizards to the melee, and the alliance will clear them out safetly, passing/lotting in order.  Note that the 3 members designated to be the "full unlocked" members to pop the 5th floor NM frog will lot the first 3 cells of each type!  After the lizards are dead, kill the freshly popped Mamool Ja, and then use either ranged or rings in the Socket to pop the first Madame of the zone.

Note: Madame tactics -  Melees with stand in one spot attacking the madame.  The rdm will stand at max casting range from the melee, keeping buffs on them and debuffs on the madame.  The brd will sing between TP moves.  When charmga occurs, the brd will lullaby the melees, and the rdm will gravity the madame.  Note that spamming sleep on the madame is a good way to reduce TP moves.  Keep DoT on the madame and ensure your rdm/brd dont get charmed for a fast fight.

After the madame is dead, move to the last 3 wings and kill a couple cell mobs to complete your 3 full unlocked designated members' armor sets.  Use a card to pop Jacko in the Slot in the NW wing and zone up.  (Note that jacko just needs to be popped, not killed, to count toward the total NM total to pop the 6th floor madame).

Floor 3

If you hit this floor in under 25-26 minutes, you can hastely farm the first 2 west rooms for 3 mp and some stats while someone heads to zone up to 4th floor.  The reason to do this is the 4th floor madame pop condition is zoning to 4th floor North in under 30 minutes.  You can then use the Mamools on the 4th floor to get the remaining stats you need (they dont drop mp), killing the wrong rampart to continually zone back to the 4th floor for more stat cells.

If you dont have that much time, just clear the entire west wing to fully unlock your members for stats/hp/mp and pop the west wing Frog.  This frog drops nothing, but adds to the NM count to pop the 6th floor madame.  After the madame dies, zone up the NORTH portal.  (note: it takes a while to walk from south to north, so send someone to the portal when you hit the main southern room.  They should reach the portal by the time you finish off the room/madame).

Floor 4

If you zoned to this floor withing 30 minutes of entering the zone, you can kill the Porrogo madame pop for 3 lvl 15 armor.  If not, just kill the appropriate Rampart and zone up to the next floor.  Note the rampart you kill unlocks the portal and killing the wrong one warps you back to Floor 4.  The ramparts change by day:

The day you enter the Salvage run determines which rampart you need to defeat in order to activate the teleport:

Floor 5

If you fully unlocked your 3 members, the 5th floor madame should be up in his room  and waiting to be killed.  The gears in the way to his room are a pain in the ass.  Typically the thf will sac this room while everyone heads to the madame room at bottom of H-7.  It is also wise to send another person to the portal as the thf sacs, so you can zone up the moment the madame dies.  Note the Ramparts in the madame room do not aggro.

Floor 6

After zoning up and killing the madame here, you can begin clearing the gears and chariot to unlock the door to the boss.  Note that the gears will not spawn till the chariot is attacked/pulled.  Typically a person will sac  the chariot and die in a safe spot while the rest of the party (who is waiting in the inlet to the south) focuses on pulling/killing the newly popped gears.  Note the map below is incorrect.  The gears spawn vertically (8 gears total), evenly spaced, and move left to right continuously in a set path.

Special Note: These gears are immune to sleep!  Fast pulling is a must with so much to kill, so keep them coming, but be sure to bind/gravity links, as sleep doesnt work on this floor.  Note that the chariot does not link or aggro.

After the gears are dead, kill the chariot and zone up.  It is sometimes a good idea to 2 hour the chariot to save time, as he is much safer to deal with than the boss, but still has alot of HP.

Boss:

This boss can be very nasty to low man due to his 4400 needles move discoid.  Discoid is centered around the target and goes out to a range of 10'.  A good strat for this is to have the tanks fight it head out, and have everyone else stand exactly 9' away from the tanks at a 30 degree angle.  The angle ensures everyone doesnt get hit with conal AoE, and the distance ensures you are out of range of his normal chariot attacks, but in range for Discoid.   Note that discoid is magic damage and is reduced by shell.
